OPERATION TECHNOLOGY: The Lionel LionChief App features Bluetooth 5.0 technology that allows you to operate your train using any compatible smart device. It also includes (LVC) function that lets you run your locomotive by speaking commands, as well as (VSR) that allows you to record your own voice to create custom train announcements or stream your voice live through the engine. Additionally, the RailSounds RC Sound System controls train sounds and announcements, and the FasTrack System ensures tight, reliable connections.

FEATURES: The train set features an electric locomotive controlled by remote, dual powerful maintenance-free motors, operating couplers, diesel revving and background sounds, user-activated announcements, operating directional headlight, illuminated interior, opening doors on the Hi-cube boxcar, and metal handrails, ladder, and warning placards on the tank car. The well car also has two removable containers.

NOTIFICATIONS: The remote control requires (3) AAA Alkaline Batteries for operation (not included), and a Phillips screwdriver is required (not included). Regular maintenance includes lubricating wheels, axles, and linkage, occasional wiping with a soft cloth for cleaning, and removing all batteries when not in use for an extended period. This train set is recommended for ages 14 years and up.
